Travel by air
An international airport, with frequent flights to most major cities in Europe, is located only 20 minutes away by bus. Shuttle services go directly to the "Cité des Congrès".
Air France is the official carrier for the conference. Special priced flight tickets will be available, with rebates ranging from 10% to 30% : a personal document will be sent out to every registered participant, in order to benefit from this offer. Tickets should be bought through Air France’s usual retailers, using this document as a proof of participation.

Travel by train
Nantes is only two hours away from Paris by high-speed train, with more than 20 departures daily. All venues for the ETHICS conference are within a five-minute walk from the railway station.
Accommodation
All venues are located right in the heart of down town, with numerous accommodation possibilities, including four-star hotels.
A booking service is provided by the “Cité Internationale des Congrès Nantes Métropole” (International Convention Center of Nantes). The use of this service guarantees the availability of a hotel room in the category you’ve chosen : 2, 3 or 4 stars.
1 - Download the registration form here in Word or PDF or go to the booking service’s website for online registration.
2 – Choose the hotel category you want to stay in (NB : to guarantee the availability of rooms for all participants, it is not possible to choose a specific hotel. People wishing to be booked into the same hotel must mention it on their registration form.)
3 – Send out the payment for the first night by either : check, credit card or IBAN transfer and return the registration form by fax or mail to the “Cité Internationale des Congrès Nantes Métropole”. An extra-fee of 10 euros will be charged for the booking service, and the remaining balance for the stay must paid directly to the hotel.
NB : This service is proposed as an option to the participants, it is not compulsory. Cumulus and L’Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique cannot be held responsible for this service whatsoever. Just be aware : in case you decide to book your rooms on your own , its availability can not be guaranteed at this time of the year.
Tourism
Nantes is only 50 kilometres away from the Atlantic seaside (La Baule's famous beach, Saint Nazaire harbour, the coast of Brittany), at the end of the Loire valley. There are plenty of nice and diverse destinations in the Pays de la Loire regional area; Nantes also offers a lively nightlife, with plenty of bars and restaurants.
